Lake Lotus Park is the City of Altamonte Springs’ nature preserve. The total area is approximately 150 acres, including 120 acres of woods and wetlands. The park is a diverse, natural habitat that provides limitless natural encounters with flora and fauna.

Uptown Altamonte is a filled with shops, restaurants, shows and many other seasonal events. Uptown is just a short drive from our condo.

Fishing is allowed during open park hours from the north and southeast shorelines. Fishing is prohibited from the boardwalks, platforms and any areas where there is raised railing.
A State of Florida fishing license is required per FWC regulations. Please visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission website for more information on license requirements and other regulations.
Cranes Roost Lake produces a variety of species including: bass, crappie, catfish and sunfish, which includes bluegill and redear sunfish (shellcracker). Game fish may only be taken with pole and line or rod and reel. We promote conservation along with catch and release for fish not being taken for food. Please place used fishing line and/or artificial bait in the proper trash receptacles.

Boston Coffee House is one of our personal favorites to visit for breakfast or lunch. They have an amazing menu with specialty coffees. They are only a short drive from the condo in a beautiful new shopping center in Altamonte Springs.
